OUR MISSION
We believe that change is possible and can happen against all odds.
Based on 20 years of service in the inner city by the Founders Prince & Sheila Couisnard, the organization though new in name has years of equity and experience in stabilizing communities and families. Malachi D&P is birthed out a desire to see work continue in the lives of youth from ages 13- 18, young adults, families and single parent families.
Our relationship with collaborating organizations will allow us to adequately serve 271 families. Malachi D&P will reeducate families that spiritual provision is provided for them to overcome bondage from generational and situational choices and lifestyles.
All of us have a number of hurtful, traumatic experiences in our past, which have scarred us emotionally. Most of the people we will be serving have dealt with generational poverty, broken family relationships and physical abuse. Any number of traumatic, emotional events can clutter one’s soul with emotional baggage that seems to limit maturity and block individuals from freedom in Christ. Through our relational discipleship approach Malachi D&P will lead people into freedom in Christ.

The purpose of Malachi Destiny & Purpose is relational discipleship for inner-city youth and their families in Houston, Texas. We aim to equip & train those struggling with a lack of family, educational, and economic infrastructure, to overcome adversity and succeed to their utmost abilities. We do this through experience and exposure by offering mentorships and programs. Our programs focus on:
- Providing strategic hands-on-training through consistent partnerships
- Teaching disciplines that will stimulate overall personal improvement
- Transformational business models that stimulate the local community and economy
- God’s redemptive work
- Family restoration
- Mental health
- Reproducing leaders & disciples to stimulate economic, social change in our community
